Okay, so there’s an old man living on his own in a house by the Gym in Anistar City. When you speak to him, he tells you about how his wife has passed away and he’s been pretty lonely. He asks you for a level 5 or lower pokemon to keep him company and I gave him my Fletchling.

I’ve visited before, between the time I lent him my Fletchling and before this and he’s told me how he’s really enjoyed spending time with my pokemon! How it’s so playful and energetic!

After spending all my time on the story, plot, breeding, and training, I came back to check up on the old man only to find a lone pokeball and a letter.

Dear Leia,

Thanks to the kindness you and your Fletchling showed me, I was able to keep smiling until the very end. I apologize that I can’t look after Fletchling anymore, but I know you’ll take care of it. Finally, please take this Comet Shard as a token of my thanks.

And that was the end of the letter.

It’s really sad, now to train this Fletchling into a Talonflame in memory of the old man!
